Dr. Mansour Alshammari, Secretary-General of the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal), received Mohammad Barghouty, Press Attache and Spokesperson for the U.S. Mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the Center’s headquarters in Riyadh on (Sunday) (October) 31st 2021.
During the visit, Mr. Barghouty was briefed on (Etidal’s) efforts in addressing extreme ideologies, in addition to the monitoring and analysis mechanism, the techniques used, and the models developed to dismantle extreme ideology discourses.
At the end of the visit, Mohammad Barghouty, Press Attache and Spokesperson for the U.S. Mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, took souvenir photos on occasion of the visit. After that, Mr. Barghouty wrote down a comment in (Etidal) visitors book: “Thank you for a great visit and best of luck on all the great work you’re doing. We look forward to working closely in the future.”
