The Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology Etidal received a delegation from the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition.
During their visit to the Center in Riyadh on Monday September 7th 2020, the delegation was briefed on Etidal’s efforts in combating extremist ideology and the work strategies of its various departments. The delegation was also briefed on the monitoring and analysis mechanisms, the techniques used and the models developed within the Center, while the delegation commended Etidal on “the coverage of all aspects related to combating extremist ideology”, pointing out that “this helps in combating extremism”.
As Etidal and the delegation later on discussed avenues of collaboration in the digital, ideology and media fields, in addition to a number of areas of common interest.
