A US Military delegation: We learned a lot from the remarkable team Etidal has

During their reception by the Secretary-General of the Center, Dr. Mansour Alshammari, at the Center’s headquarters in Riyadh on November 27, 2019, students of a number of American military colleges described the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal) as remarkable, stressing Etidal’s excellence in combating extremist ideologies.

“I thank you for receiving us. We are here to listen and learn. What we saw is exceptionally impressive,” said Dr. John Duke Anthony, the CEO of the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations. He wrote in the record of Etidal’s visits log: “On behalf of the American military student delegation, I can say that we learned a lot. You have a great team of teachers, thank you.”

As the delegation member, retired Colonel Abbas Dahouk said: “This is my second visit, as the first one was with the delegation of President Donald Trump back when I was a military attaché to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I see major developments since May 2017.”

During their visit, the delegation was briefed on the monitoring and analysis mechanisms, the techniques used, the models that are developed within the command and control center and the use of the most advanced techniques in this field.

At the end of their visit, the guests took commemorative photos with the Secretary-General of the Center, Dr. Mansour Alshammari, as he presented a gift to Dr. John Duke Anthony, head of the delegation, founder and CEO of the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations.
