His Excellency the National Security Advisor to the Austrian Federal Government, Dr. Peter Vorhofer, visited today (Tuesday), September 30, 2025, the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal) at its headquarters in Riyadh. He met with the Center’s Secretary-General, Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari, and the meeting included discussions on topics of mutual interest.
His Excellency also reviewed Etidal’s strategies and efforts in combating extremism, along with key partnerships and initiatives launched to raise awareness, promote the values of coexistence, confront extremist ideologies, and mitigate their impact.
At the conclusion of the visit, Secretary-General Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari presented Dr. Peter Vorhofer, the National Security Advisor of the Republic of Austria, with Etidal’s shield as a commemorative gift.
