RIYADH – ETIDAL HEADQUARTERS: HRH Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Chairman of King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, praised the advanced technologies used at the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology during an official visit to the Center’s Riyadh headquarters. “I thank God that I [finally] saw that Etidal has the cure to a disease that is threatening the Islamic World in particular and all of humanity in general,” Al-Faisal said. “I saw high professionalism in the Center’s utilization of the latest technologies to monitor and identify extremism,” he added. The prince, accompanied by a group of King Faisal Center researchers and experts were welcomed by Dr. Nasir Al-Buqumi, Secretary General of the Global Center for Combatting Extremist Ideology and briefed on some of Etidal’s ongoing projects, including sentiment prediction using machine learning and AI.
