The Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal) welcomed a US delegation headed by Lynn Roach, Press and Public Diplomatic Director of Near East Affairs at the US Department of State. During the visit, the delegation toured the Center and its units, where they listened to a detailed explanation about the Center's role in observing and combating extremist ideology. During the visit, the Center reviewed the strategy on which its work is based. Also, a review was made of the ongoing and planned projects, as part of the efforts to eliminate extremist discourse and ideas that feed conflicts and spread violence in numerous parts of the world.
