A group of officials from Bahrain’s Public Security Presidency visited the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology "Etidal" on Tuesday. The delegation was led by H.E. Dr. Hamad bin Mohammad Al khalifa, Deputy Assistant for Operations and Training. Etidal Secretary General Dr. Nasir Albiqami briefed the Bahraini delegation on the Center's recent achievements undermining the global extremist discourse. Specifically, Dr. Albiqami discussed Etidal’s tactics in identifying, monitoring and confronting extremist social media content using artificial intelligence developed by the Center. Dr. Hamad Al Khalifa expressed his support for the Center's work and stressed the importance of international collaboration in fighting extremism.
