His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal), Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari, welcomed a delegation from the Kingdom of Denmark to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, headed by Mr. Peter Juel-Jensen, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ms. Liselotte Plesner, and their accompanying delegation, on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the Center’s headquarters in Riyadh.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the efforts of Etidal Center in countering extremist ideology. They reviewed the center’s methodologies and strategies for mitigating the effects of extremism, as well as the initiatives and partnerships launched to promote moderation and strengthen the values of coexistence.
At the end of the visit, memorial gifts were exchanged.
