His Excellency Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari, Secretary General of the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal), welcomed His Excellency Mr. Giorgi Gvarakidze, Prosecutor General of Georgia, and his accompanying delegation on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Center’s headquarters in Riyadh.
During the visit, both sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in combating extremist ideology, as well as a number of topics of mutual interest, particularly those related to developing mechanisms for ideological counter-extremism and preventing radicalization.
His Excellency the Georgian Prosecutor General was briefed on Etidal’s most prominent initiatives and successes in monitoring and addressing extremist discourse, in addition to its role in activating international partnerships that support efforts to promote moderation and coexistence, and to counter extremist contents.
At the end of the visit, souvenirs were exchanged between His Excellency Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari, Secretary General of (Etidal), and His Excellency Mr. Giorgi Gvarakidze, Prosecutor General of Georgia.
