His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal), Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari, received Her Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom, Safia Taleb Al-Suhail, at the center’s headquarters in Riyadh, on Thursday July 27, 2023. During the meeting, they discussed means of common interest in the field of combating extremist ideology.
Her Excellency the Ambassador was briefed on Etidal’s strategy and its digital, ideological and media efforts in combating extremist ideology, countering extremist propaganda, disseminating messages that reinforce the principles of tolerance and promoting the culture of moderation.
At the end of the visit, souvenir photos were taken, while His Excellency the Secretary-General of (Etidal), Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari, presented (Etidal) shield to Her Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom, Safia Talib Al-Suhail.
