Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari, Secretary-General of the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal), received today (Thursday), December 19, 2024, at the Center’s headquarters in Riyadh, H.E. Mr. Emanuele Loperfido, Member of the Committees on Foreign and Community Affairs and the Defense Committee in the Italian Parliament, along with his accompanying delegation. The meeting focused on discussing efforts to combat extremist ideology.
The visiting delegation was briefed on Etidal’s efforts to counter extremist ideology, including strategies to mitigate the impact of extremist content and community initiatives aimed at promoting tolerance and fostering a culture of moderation.
At the conclusion of the visit, commemorative photos were taken, and Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari presented H.E. Mr. Emanuele Loperfido with the Etidal shield as a token of appreciation.
