The Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal), in collaboration with Telegram, continues its joint efforts to counter extremist propaganda. In the first quarter of 2025 (January–March), the collaboration successfully removed 16,062,667 pieces of extremist content and deleted 1,408 channels used by extremist organizations.
As of March 2025, the cumulative results of the collaboration—launched in February 2022—include the removal of 176,758,457 pieces of extremist content and the deletion of 16,201 channels.
This ongoing collaboration underscores a shared commitment to combating extremist rhetoric and advancing a safer online environment.
