His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal), Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari, welcomed a delegation of senior aides and advisors of US Congress members, on Wednesday April 24, 2024, at the Center’s headquarters in Riyadh. They were introduced with the efforts made in the field of combating extremist ideology, and spreading and promoting the values of moderation and coexistence.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on Etidal’s strategies for monitoring and combating extremist content and reducing its effects on society, in addition to community initiatives and international partnerships.
At the end of the visit, souvenir photos were taken with His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Centre, Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari, while His Excellency presented a souvenir to the head of the delegation.
