The Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal) and (Telegram) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance the level of joint work between them in the field of prevention and combating terrorism and violent extremism (PCVE), as an extension of the previous work between them based on joint cooperation in the field of combating extremist content. This stage comes as a result of the strong relationship and fruitful work between the two parties, which has witnessed continuous development since the announcement of joint cooperation on February 21, 2022, which is still ongoing to this day.
The memorandum was signed by His Excellency the Secretary-General of the (Etidal) Center, Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari, and on behalf of (Telegram), Mr. Mike Ravdonikas, which aims to open new horizons for continuing joint cooperation in combating extremist and terrorist propaganda activity, building capacities, and launching initiatives that contribute to achieving common goals.
