Riyadh - Etidal April 29, 2018 The Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal) welcomed a Delegation from Cyprus, headed by Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides. During their visit, the Cypriot Delegation was briefed on Etidal's strategic approach to fighting terror, its media work to combat and counter extremist ideologies, and the Center's techniques and tactics to combat extremist content and confront extremists seeking to use social platforms to recruit new fighters. The Foreign Minister of Cyprus and Etidal discussed the importance of coordinating efforts to fight global extremism and educate young people about the danger of extremist ideologies.
